Coolnest

My wife and I spent 5 nights at Cool Nest and we loved every minute of our stay. Our room was spacious and clean with all the amenities and the staff were so thoughtful by providing a honeymoon welcome in our room which made us feel very special. The views from the rooms are just stunning and we spent many an evening sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down. The facilities at the nest are superb. The gym is excellent and extremely well equipped and the pool is such a beautiful place to laze in the outdoor sun. We really enjoyed our daily breakfasts and afternoon snacks provided by the hotel. There is such a huge range of food choices on offer and they change daily. The food and drinks both in the bar and the restaurant are well priced and of excellent quality. There is lots going on in terms of classes and things to do and the area surrounding the hotel is a great place to explore. We enjoyed the Yoga class and the sunrise hike- worth waking up for! All of the staff at the Nest were extremely friendly and very helpful and we were very sad to leave at the end of our stay- we will be back! The only thing that I can say is that the rooms are quite warm and we did struggle to sleep in the heat. We were also above the car park and it got quite noisy with people coming and going.

We really loved our week in Coolnest! The staff are very friendly and cheerful. The room very spacious, clean, have good beds and good cleaning service every morning. Every morning we opened the curtains of our "painting": the view of the beautiful surroundings. Nothing is missing from this hotel. The pool is great, the breakfast and snack buffet delicious. And the possibility for pilates, wellness and the gym make it complete. We almost didn't leave the hotel and will come back next year! There was only one blemish on our whole week: our room was below the restaurant, where a live band performed on Saturday evening. The noise level was way too high and we were in our room bouncing along until almost twelve o'clock. The restaurant does not belong to the hotel, but is located in the same building. It would be a great service if the hotel and restaurant would make better agreements about the noise level, so that guests do not experience any inconvenience from such events.

By far one of the best hotel experiences. The hotel manages to combine very modern design with a cozy atmosphere fitting perfectly into the landscape. Beautiful rooms with an amazing view. The breakfast and included afternoon Jause were perfect and offered a great variety, also for vegetarians and even vegans. But what made the biggest difference for me was the service. The staff took hospitality to the next level. No matter which interaction I had (booking via phone, pick-up arrangement, check-in, breakfast service, hiking recommendations, offered shuttle service to the cable car etc.) the team was always so nice and helpful, always happy with a smile making sure I had everything I could possibly need. The Green Package when arriving via public transport is such a great idea and underlines their overall sustainability approach. Looking forward to come back for a longer stay next time.
